Dear Friends of castle Borl and IDRIART!
Chartres was very special and thank you again to all of you for coming or trying to come! Since then it became clear that , after 16 years, castle Borl is finally “arriving” !! We had meeting with Slovenian Minister of Culture and director of Monument Care department and they do like our vision very much and all that is needed now is a sound business plan then we will sign 40 years agreement and they release Eur 10.000.000 EU money for renovation. We hope this will be the case in early autumn 2009.
But we need now an event in Borl where we invite all stakeholders to get the experience, and this will be August 28-30. Experience must include sitting in the orchestra, because that has always been the highlight of Borl-experience in past years. But that demands some basic budget. It is late. Summer is in between.
Do you want to come? Can you commit? I wrote to many friends in past days and so many would love to come BUT there is conflict of dates for whatever reason. And i am sure most of you will have such conflict too. Understandable…
BUT, if you would love to be there but there is no way this time, can you please donate Euro 200 so we can still hold the event and Borl will move to the “next level” ? It would be GREAT support, thank you very much!
Of course we hope to greet you all in Borl end of August, it is the best time of the year to experience the beautiful landscape around tre castle…we have a great team in Slovenia to help you with all logistics…please let us know ASAP, help us spread the message on your networks,
